MQ-9A -25 and Secure GCS Spares

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract N0001922G0006-N0001923F0135 to General Atomics – Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, California, for the procurement of spares necessary for the successful operational capability of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Expeditionary (MUX) Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) MQ-9 UHK97000-25 Reaper air vehicles and Secure Ground Control Station (GCS)s.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
