Description
***THIS IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTE UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES***
The Unites States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation- - Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA-Natural Resource Conserbation Service (NRCS) Ohio State Office for work to be performed near Clayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.
The job consists of clearing and removal of fallen trees and debris from, and adjacent to 2 stream channels:
East Site - approximately 750 linear ft. of channel clearing, debris removal, restoration of disturbed areas, and temporary site access improvements.
West Site - approximately 1570 linear ft. of channel clearing, debris removal, restoration of disturbed areas, and temporary site access improvements.
An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
Participant will meet at (TBD), Ohio.
Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. This opportunity will be a Total Small Business set-aside. The full solicitation package including construction drawings, specificstions, and wage rates will be posted and available from this website on or after April 28, 2022.
A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract.
The anticipated period of performance for this project is 20 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
In accordance wit FAR 36.204, the estimated maginitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Enginieering Construction. The Small Business Size Standart for this NAICS is $39.5M.
