Request for SF330 (Qualifications) for North Little Rock Project Book (Seismic) -- C213

VA Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) - Central Region is issuing this public announcement for Request for SF330s (RFI: CFM-24-000013). This is not a request for a fee proposal. The request is for Architect/Engineer (A/E) services for a North Little Rock Project Book. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for professional AE services to investigate and analyze existing conditions and mission need; provide recommendations; prepare programming (VA-1391) documents for recommended projects to address seismic deficiencies by repair or replacement; and prepare a PROJECT BOOK to detail key information necessary for starting design and/or request for proposal (RFP) package development for design-build execution, including recommendations for execution strategy, phasing/sequencing, cost, and schedule for the following Projects. Services to be provided include investigation, coordination, data collection & analysis, development of recommendations with supporting justification, preparation of programming documentation, estimating, preparation of project book(s), other services as described in this solicitation, and presentation for the following projects: 1. Project 598-423 Correct Critical Seismic Deficiencies in Building 22 (Firehouse) 2. Project 598-424 Correct Critical Seismic Deficiencies in Building 39 (Patient Dormitory) 3. Project 598-417 Correct Seismic and Structural Deficiencies in Building 66 (Clinical Support) 4. Project 598-420 Correct Seismic and Structural Deficiencies in Building 69 (Boiler Plant) Furthermore, this effort is to study existing conditions and mission needs to determine the best course of action for correcting the seismic deficiencies in the four (4) buildings included in this effort. These buildings are known to be seismically and functionally deficient and are considered high risk and in need of study for development of corrective action plans that result in projects that can be approved, funded, and executed with minimal disruption to the Healthcare Center’s mission. The buildings are located within the North Little Rock (Eugene J. Towbin) VA Healthcare Center campus at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
