This is a Small Business Sources Sought Notice. This notice is intended strictly for Market Research. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited on this notice.
Requirement:
The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health and Development (NICHD), in support of the work of the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Disease (NIDDK), is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing Bronze Support Plan, for Andor iXon EMCCD Camera.
The NIDDK investigators cutting-edge technologies to the NIH campus and potentially collaborate with many PIs to advance basic understandings of biochemical processes. The research of the NIDDK’s research program will develop novel single-molecule technologies to address fundamental questions in biophysics and biochemistry for NIDDK. To carry out this research the NIDDK to purchase an EMCCD camera.
The scientific camera must meet the following requirements to satisfy the research needs:
• Peak quantum efficiency >95%
• Electron-multiplying (EMCCD) capability
• Thermal electric cooling to -95 degrees C
• USB3 data transmission
• Anti-reflection coating in the visible range with fringe suppression for NIR
All Capability Statements sent in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE are due no later than 11:00 AM (EST), July 27, 2022. Responses and/or submissions via Facsimile will not be accepted. All questions pertaining to this notice must include the Notice Number specified above.
CAPABILITY STATEMENTS RECEIVED AFTER SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
