AN12--(S)((660) Research REICORR contract Request (VA-21-00081488)

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Research and Development, intends to contract on a sole source basis with Reicorr, LLC to provide specific consultation services from Dr. Gayle Reiber, who is a distinguished epidemiologist and health services researcher. Dr. Reiber possesses specialized previous experience with the VA Puget Sound, VA SLC and the University of Washington. This, coupled with Dr. Reiber s in-depth knowledge and experience with COIN research, make her the only viable professional to provide the consultation services needed. This contract will have a base period (1 year) and 4 option periods (each 1 year). This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other contractors will satisfy agency requirements; and VHAPM Part 813.106-1(b), Other Than Full and Open Competition less than SAT for Open Market Items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than December 28, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
