Description

This amendment provides answers to questions received.

1. What is the sample material? (i.e. Hydraulic cement)

Response: The sample material is aquaculture tissue (i.e. shrimp, frog, fish, etc.)

2. What is the starting particle size of the material? (i.e. 3mm)

Response: The tissue is ground with dry ice but is paste like once thawed.

3. What is the targeted final fineness? (i.e. 45um)

Response: The tissue size doesn’t change.  The equipment in the solicitation should have the ability to transfer liquid from a vessel onto a solid-phase extraction cartridge described in the SOW.

4. What is the amount of sample to be processed in one sample batch? (i.e. 100mL)

Response: The SOW stated it had to be able to do 20 samples  or more.  Each sample has 15mL that has to be transferred to the solid-phase extraction cartridge.

5. Are there any elements that will interfere with post-grind analysis? (i.e. Fe, Cr, etc.)

Response: This is an organic testing analysis.  No metal elements are evaluated.

See attached combined synopsis/solicitation.
