Description

This is a solicitation notice for an engineering services contract for the design, data, prototype building and qualifying test articles as drop-in replacement switches for the first and second flight control auxiliary power system on the Minuteman III missile system. A Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS), FA8251MMIIIPS, was issued on Sam.gov from 11 Feb 2021 to 3 March 2021.The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete this effort. Contract will be firm fixed priced. Anticipated Data CLINs include the following: Technical Data Package, Integrated Master Schedule, Functional Configuration Audit Report, IUID Marking Plan, Conference Agenda for Meetings, Record of Meeting/Minutes Report, Pressure Switch Qualification Test Plan, Pressure Switch Qualification Test Report, Counterfeit Prevention Plan and Operations Secuirty (OSPEC) Plan . Additionally, the contractor will be required to test thirty articles (ten of each type) and deliver 6 prototypes to be used as drop in replacements for the following parts:

Pesco P/N 44-1189-06, NSN 5930-00-702-2908,

Vickers P/N 2032-0901, NSN 5930-01-119-2206,

Pesco P/N 44-2032-01, NSN 5930-00-722- 9864 

Vickers P/N 610694, NSN 5930-00-926-0880.

All data developed for this effort exclusively with government funds will have unlimited data rights. The acceptance of the deliverables and processes will qualify the contractor as an approved source.
