Description

The purpose of this procurement is to obtain one (1) Document Analyst for quality forensic document examination support services.

The contractor (Forensic Document Examiner) must possess experience with scientific examinations, comparisons, and analyses of documents to establish genuineness, expose forgery, or to reveal alterations, additions, or deletions. The analyst must have experience identifying or eliminating persons as the source of handwriting or relative evidence and writing reports or give testimony to aid the users of the examiner’s services in understanding the examiner’s findings. Finally, the analyst must be able to conduct scientific examinations of handwriting, signatures, and alterations. The analyst must be able to assess individualizing characteristics of handwriting and signatures to compare characteristics with known and unknown specimens. The analyst must be qualified to write reports for use by the judiciary, administrative and executive officers, law enforcement agencies, boards, commissions, lawyers, and individuals.
