Description
The USGS - Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center (the Center) needs to acquire an underwater acoustic positioning system (USBL). The USBL system will be used by various groups in the center to facilitate accurate positioning/tracking of equipment and divers in a subsea environment. Having accurate positioning allows for higher quality datasets for geo-tagging subsea samples and photographs, diver location, and subsea equipment platform positions. To be delivered 30 days after award to Woods Hole, MA.
Item Requested: Brand name-Sonardyne Micro-Ranger 2 Nano or an equal to product.
Request for Quote 140G0124Q0228 will be issued on 7/11/24 with written quotes due on 7/26/24.
This acquisition is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 334511. The size standard is 1,350 employees.
