Description

This Task Order has been awarded against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N64498-21-G-4000 for upgrading the fuel systems on emergency diesel generators (EDGs). The submarine hulls to receive this upgrade are:

•USS Nevada (SSBN 733)

•USS Nebraska (SSBN 739)

•USS Alabama (SSBN 731)

•USS Kentucky (SSBN 737)

•USS Henry M. Jackson (SSBN 730)

•USS Maine (SSBN 741)

This was awarded on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR) Subpart 6.302-1. A Class Justification and Approval for use of other than full and open competition was approved on 15 December 2020 and is available under Notice ID: 0231-20-194-00. The statement of work is attached to this notice.
