Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source procurement action with Trane U.S. Inc. for the procurement rental of chillers:  All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following:

This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.301-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action to Trane U.S. Inc. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL.  The Government has a need for Trane U.S. Inc. to continue to provide temporary AC Chillers to the Maxwell Event Center (Building 144) and the 26th Network Operations Squadron, Data Center (Building 856) and ensures the chillers are properly serviced to maintain functionality.

Period of Performance:  Building 144, from contract award to 31 Aug 2022 and Building 856, from contract award to 30 Sep 2022 with a one year option.

Therefore, Trane U.S. Inc. is the only known company that can satisfy the Government’s requirement. 

Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Wednesday, 18 May 2022, 3:00 CST to Paulette Montgomery-Troy and Donald A. Crawford, 42d Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza S, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL 36112.  At email paulette.montgomery-troy@us.af.mil and donald.crawford.8@us.af.mil, phone (334) 953-5475.  Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  The 42d Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
