Description

Notice of Intent to Single-Source: The 49th Contracting Squadron (CONS) – Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico intends to issue a single-source award to AKS Industries Inc under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(2). 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement for the Government to review. The Government will consider responses received by the deadline set in this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a full and open competitive procurement or a small business set aside competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this announcement. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 314910, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
