Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States of America in Vienna, Austria will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov when it is available.
The contractor shall perform painting services at U.S. Government-owned or -leased properties, for one base year and three option years, if exercised by the Government. Anticipated starting date is February 1, 2025.
The Scope of Work includes an estimated number of 80 – 100 apartments per contract year (70% of them during May – September), with an average size of 170 square meters).
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror, who is a responsible contractor.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements
