Description
The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in support of the Multifunctional Information Distribution (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) plans to issue a Full and Open Competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development and procurement of National Security Agency (NSA) certified for Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS) terminals that support Concurrent Multi-Netting-4 (CMN-4), Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT), and F-22 capabilities. This contemplated Solicitation is estimated to be released during the first quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2024 and the resultant contract will support the MPO terminal and sustainment requirement. The Government anticipates issuing a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which will include a five-year ordering period.
The Government previously released a Request for Information (RFI) in August 2023, which can be found under Solicitation Number MKTSVY-001959EE and has been provided as an attachment to this pre-solicitation notice for informational purposes. Based on the analysis of the responses to this RFI, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.1, the Government determined this requirement would be solicited on the basis of full and open competition.
This pre-solicitation notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests. Any questions/comments shall be submitted in writing to the Contracts Specialist, Chalon James at chalon.d.james.civ@us.navy.mil or the Contracting Officer, Lindsay Nickel at lindsay.t.nickel.civ@us.navy.mil.
