Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to replace the HVAC at Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) facility and Base Building at the Farmingdale Republic Airport located in Farmingdale, New York. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in SAM.gov are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. This SIR is a competitive small business set-aside. The FAA anticipates awarding single-award contract IAW with AMS 3.6.1.3.2 Prime Contracting with Small Businesses.
All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR.
A site visit is scheduled for March 15, 2022 at 10:00 ET. To attend the site visit please submit your Name, Company and email address to Katie Fogle at Katherine.fogle@faa.gov no later than March 8, 2022.
All questions must be received no later than March 22, 2022. Proposals are due no later than 17:00 ET on March 29, 2022. Any proposal received after 17:00 ET on March 29, 2022 will be considered non-responsive and will not be eligible for award.
To be eligible for award Offerors must have an active registration in www.SAM.gov and
Offerors' proposals must include all of the required documents outline in Section L and Section M. This requirement is covered by the Davis-Bacon Act, under Wage Determination (Attachment J-2).
