DLA Multi NSN Project

DLA Aviation – Richmond, Virginia, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the following NSNs and nomenclatures.

PLEASE REVIEW THE BELOW NSN AND PROVIDE US WITH ANY SOURCES THAT ARE ABLE TO MANUFACTURE THE ITEM.  PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE THE LOCATION (CITY AND STATE) OF THE MANUFACTURER AND POINTS OF CONTACT.  PLEASE PROVIDE THIS TO Amber Brister at Amber.Brister@dla.mil

This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal.  It does not constitute a solicitation, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government.   Responses in any form are not offers, and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.  No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement.   Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.

DLA Aviation intends to award a sole source long-term contract with a performance period of 5 years (one three-year base period and one, two-year option period).

Air Force Critical Safety Items

ISO 9001:2008 Higher level quality inspection system or equivalent

Government FAT (First Article Test)

Export Control

Interested  parties  may  identify  their  interest  and  capability  to  respond  to  the requirement no later than July 06, 2021.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by July 06, 2021.  All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Amber.Brister@dla.mil.

If there is an open solicitation for a national stock number for which you want to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package, please submit it directly to the buyer noted on the solicitation. SAR’s will not be evaluated for items that are already designated as fully competitive such as those items coded AMSC “G” and described by drawings and specifications.  (NOTE: This applies to open solicitations only).
