Description

The VA Saint Louis Health Care System, John Cochran Division, requires a Construction Contractor to repair and/or replace various HVAC systems within Sterile Processing System s Reusable Medical Equipment storage rooms to current VHA HVAC Design Criteria and VHA Directive 1116.2. These rooms are located throughout the facility on several different floors in the main hospital, Building 1. Work includes, but not limited to, coordination of the disconnection and removal of existing HVAC components, coordination of the reconnection and placement of new HVAC components, maintain existing HVAC requirements in occupied spaces during the removal and replacement of HVAC components, abate hazardous materials, and finishing the space for patient care. Most storage rooms will be vacated of reusable medical equipment to an alternate location during construction. This project has a set of drawings and specifications that have been created by an Architectural-Engineering firm. These drawings and specifications indicate the work to be performed.
