Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM (www.sam.gov).

The internal RFQ number is N0018922Q0244. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-100 (effective 22 August 2018) and DFARS Publication Notice 20180824 (effective 24 August 2018). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses:

The NAICS code is 517410 and the Small Business Standard is $35,000,000.00.

The proposed contract is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action from this solicitation.

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing satellite internet and phone service for installed SAILOR 900 KU band satellite service for TSV-1 Prevail, TSV-2 Hugo, TSV-3 Hunter and TSV-4 Narragansett, during the initial Period of Performance (POP) and adding TSV-5 Vindicator in AUG of initial POP, please refer to attached Statement of Work (SOW). Place of Performance: System installed onboard TSV-1 Prevail, stationed at Pier 58, TSV-2 Hugo, stationed at Pier 56, TSV-3 HUNTER at pier 56 and TSV-4 NARRAGANSETT, stationed at Pier 58 JEBLC, Virginia Beach VA.

System to be installed onboard TSV-5 Vindicator, to be stationed at Pier 57 JEBLC, Virginia Beach VA.
