Description
The Federal Aviation Administration has a new construction effort to modernize the elevator system at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester Air Traffic Control Tower in Rochester, NY.
This project is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 238290, size standard of $22.0 million.
The Request for Proposal (RFP), including Performance Work Statement, Elevator Information Sheet, Wage Rates, Past Performance Questionnaire, and Standardized Proposal Breakdown are attached to this Announcement.
The price range for this requirement is $400,000 to $600,000.
Payment and Performance Bonds are required.
A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 9:00 am. local time. Due to security requirements, all attendees must have a valid photo ID (i.e. state driver's license) to gain access to the site. All contractors must submit a list of expected attendees by April 10th, 2024 to Tony.W.Bryant@faa.gov. Your list must note which employees (name and company) will attend. Any attendee not on the official list will be denied access to the facility.
All RFI’s must be submitted in writing to Tony.W.Bryant@faa.gov by April 19th, 2024.
NOTE TO OFFERORS: All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website to be eligible for award of a contract. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted.
In addition, offerors are cautioned to read the RFP carefully and ensure all proposals conform to the requirements of Section L and M.
