IDWSC BUILDING 1 & 3 STAINING
Pre-Solicitation
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Idaho Water Science Center, Boise, Idaho has a requirement for staining the exterior cedar siding of the Bureau of Reclamation/USGS Building 1 and Building 3 in Boise ID.
The Request for Quote, number 140G0324Q0188, will be made on SAM.gov, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.102(a)(1), on or about June 17, 2024. The
Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. Please contact Yangzhi Deng, the Contracting Officer, in writing, by email at yangzhideng@usgs.gov , with any questions.
This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conform to the requirements in place through FAC 2024-05, effective 05/22/2024.This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 238320 - Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The associated size standard in millions of dollars: $16.5 apply to this announcement. The applicable product/service code is Z1QA, ¿Maintenance of Restoration of Real Property¿.

Tentative dates of contractor performance: 07/15/2024 to 08/15/2024 to be scheduled.
The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
This requirement is subject to Construction Wage Rate Requirements statute (prevailing wage, formerly Davis-Bacon Act).
