Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source solicitation to National Steel and Shipbuilding Company, Inc. (NASSCO), 2798 Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92113 for the detail design and construction of Fleet Replenishment Oiler (T-AO 205 Class) 9 and associated long lead time material, spares and repair parts, engineering support, and special studies. The proposed contract action is a modification to contract N00024-16-C-2229. The proposed contract action will contain an option for construction of one (1) additional T-AO.  This sole source solicitation will be limited to NASSCO and the resultant contract modification will be awarded without full and open competition pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
