Description
The BOP is a large agency with approximately 37,000 employees located at over 130 duty stations across the United States and Puerto Rico. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) has a requirement for the procurement of expandable/collapsible batons and holsters.
The BOP intends to award a single award BPA for one year base performance period and four additional one year performance periods.
The estimated requirements for the batons and holsters includes:
Base Year: Estimated maximum quantity of 4000 batons, 4000 holsters.
Option Year 1: Estimated maximum quantity of 1000 batons, 1000 holsters.
Option Year 2: Estimated maximum quantity of 1000 batons, 1000 holsters.
Option Year 3: Estimated maximum quantity of 1000 batons, 1000 holsters.
Option Year 4: Estimated maximum quantity of 1000 batons, 1000 holsters.
The product and services specifications offered shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date will be on or about June 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm ET. The BOP anticipates awarding a single award BPA. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency. Contract Pricing
Products and services are required to be provided in accordance with specifications set forth in the Statement of Work in this solicitation.

This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to make a single award BPA to a quoter, pursuant to an affirmative determination of responsibility, whose quotation, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to be the best value to the Government considering price and past performance history.
Price: Price shall be evaluated utilizing the total aggregate pricing offered by the quoter (base year plus all option years).
Past Performance: The Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) at www.ppirs.gov will be utilized to evaluate past performance history.
