Description
This is a SOLICITATION NOTICE for Solicitation 75H701-23-R-00001 Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) Maintenance & Improvements (M&I) Renovations (Phoenix, AZ) a construction project prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36. These construction services are in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS).
SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this project is for a contractor to furnish all labor, personnel, materials, equipment, tools, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance, and supervision a number of maintenance and improvement projects on the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) campus with an overall effort to address code compliance as well as improve general safety, cleanliness, and appearance. Some of the projects are within the main hospital building, while others are within the surrounding patient clinics. The work includes abatement of asbestos containing VCT and mastic, as well as replacement of VCT and rubber cove base, ceramic floor and wall tiles, ceiling tiles and t-grid, countertops and workstations, and office furniture. Work also includes mechanical HVAC improvements, interior and exterior painting, roof replacement, trash enclosure construction, fire sprinkler inspection and replacement, and fire alarm panel replacement.
LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, which is located at 4212 North 16th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85016.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract Period of Performance is 300 calendar days from date of notice of proceed.
CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(f).
SITE VISIT: Details regarding the Site Visit are included in the solicitation. (See Amendment A00001)
CONTRACT TYPE: The Indian Health Service intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in support of this requirement. This solicitation will be procured as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 36 procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.
