Questions and Answers for RFQ 36C25023Q0002
Question: Do you have an approximation on the amount of hours your current provider spends per week in the atriums?
Answer: No.
Question: What is currently being used to treat pests and how frequently is it being performed?
Answer: The contractor would only be allowed to service the atrium planting areas. Contractor would provide Chief of Environmental Management Services all Pest Controller licenses and updated training record annually, and they must maintain a pest control treatment log in the EMS office in the lower level. Anytime the contractor wants to add a chemical they have to submit the label to the EMS office for review and the department needs two weeks to respond. The contractor must submit an updated chemical inventory list anytime they remove or add chemicals and validate that inventory annually. Also, the contractor shall not store any pesticides on station.
Question: Do you require the technician who would be servicing / anyone from our team who would be doing work on site to be fully vaccinated?
Answer: See Statement of Work, VHA Supplemental Contract Requirements for Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (Amended October 25, 2021)
Question: We noticed on the inventory that Bromeliads were listed (last line), but we didn't recall seeing any on site. Just wondering if we missed those plants somewhere, or if we should disregard?
Answer: Please disregard that particular plant.
Question: Would our team be allowed to perform any pest treatment? If so, to what extent and what types of products are/are not allowed?
