WRR EDUCATORS WORKSHOP LODGING

This is a Sources Sought request for information to be used for market research purposes only.  The Government is seeking responses from small businesses capable of performing the required services.  THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.  Responses to this announcement are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Responses will not be used for evaluation in any resultant contract for this requirement.  Please note that this requirement is in the developmental phase and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and information provided is subject to change.  The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement.  This will be a Base plus three Option Year contract.  Participation is strictly voluntary. All Sources Sought responses shall be received by 2:00PM EST on 27 November 2024. 

The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office-Parris Island (USMC RCO-PI) intends to award a 100% Small Business Set-Aside contract for Lodging during the Educators Workshops in San Diego, CA. The Regional Contracting Office, Parris Island, SC contemplates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award Simplified Acquisition Procedure contract with dates, quantities, and menus. NAICS Code: 721110 “Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels” applies to this RFI.

The results of the Sources Sought will be utilized to determine the interest of the small business community in supporting this requirement. MCRD, PI is interested in gaining further information from small businesses on whether or not they will be capable of appropriately pricing this requirement based on the information given in the attached PWS.

Interested respondents should submit a capabilities statement package (no more than 15 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum, pictures included) clearly demonstrating the firm’s ability to perform the services. A generic capability statement is not acceptable. Included in the capabilities statement package, respondents shall address the questions listed below in order for MCRD to gain further information on how to proceed with this requirement. Please review the requirements listed below. At a minimum, the package shall address the following:

1. Title of the requirement, Company Name, Physical Address, Website Address, and POC (to include phone number and email address).

2. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number/CAGE Code, statement regarding current small business status, Socioeconomic small business concerns, and verification of System for Award Management (SAM) registration.

3. Prior/current corporate experience (private and/or government) performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three (3) years. Statements should describe the dollar value, indicate whether your firm acted as the prime or subcontractor, list of customer Point(s) of Contact with phone number(s), and provide description of the experience and how the referenced experience relates to the requirements as described in the draft document attached.  Pictures of work should be included as a visual representation of prior efforts.  Before and after pictures may be used to demonstrate quality and durability. 

4. Description regarding capability to meet requirements discussed in the Performance Work Statement.

5. Responses to the following questions:

a. Approximately how much would the entire project cost?  Please provide estimated costs that may be associated with this requirement with as many details as possible with the information provided (Please see the attached Performance Work Statement).

b. Is there anything else that the Regional Contracting Office, (RCO), PI should know about the lodging and meal plans your company offers?
