Description
Scope of Work: The purpose of this requirement is to obtain equipment to safely store and transport PPE and other items used to combat the spread of the Coronavirus for IHS staff and the patients they serve. The procurement of forklifts, pickers, reaches and pallet jacks will allow IHS to properly support and ship to I/T/U facilities nationwide with the critical PPE to properly and safely care for patients.
Item Information:
- Forklift: Quantity 2 – Must have a 5000 pound capacity – must have mounted work lights – must have a swing out liquified petroleum gas (LPG) tank bracket – must use a LPG engine – must have solid pneumatic tires – must have rear combo lights, rear view mirror, and strobe lights – must a rear assist grip with horn button – class II hang on side shift with 42 inch class II standard forks – high visibility triple stage mast 85.2”/189” – must come with LPG tank – must include seat belt
- Picker: Quantity 2 – Must have a 3,000 pound capacity – must have side facing work lights – must have a back up alarm – must have a mast of 240 inches maximum fork height (MFH) – overall lowered height (OAL) of 107 inches – must have 42 inch forks – must use a 24 volt electrical system – must come with an industrial battery – must have a safety glass windshield – must have a body harness with a retractable tether
- Reach: Quantity 2 – Must have a 4,000 pound capacity – Must have a right angle stack of 102 inches or less – must have an outside turning radius of 66.5 inches or less – must have a mast of 240 inches MFH and 107 inches OAL – must have 42 inch forks – must use a 24 volt electrical system – must come with an industrial battery – must have reverse activated pedestrian lights – outriggers must be less than 54 inches outer dimension
- Electric Pallet Jack: Quantity 6 – must have 4,500 pound capacity – must have 48 inch forks – must have electric brake – must have a pressure compensated valve for lift and lowering controls – must use a 24 volt electrical system
- Battery Charger: Quantity 4 – must meet or exceed all specs for Ametek Eclipse II – Must come with power cord installed
