1 Description
GSA Fleet Marketplace seeks industry feedback and interest regarding a modernized approach to the Marshalling of 30,000+, new GSA lease vehicles in exchange with existing GSA lease vehicles on an annual basis. The intent of looking at an updated model is to provide a more economical and streamlined approach aligned with industry best practices. Therefore, industry feedback is sought to adapt GSA Fleet’s current marshalling practices to world class industry 21st century capabilities.
Consideration factors include industry’s abilities to:
1.1 Track and/or receive vehicle carrier delivery information
1.2 Support the marshalling of Zero Emission Vehicles to include battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and/or fuel cell vehicles.
1.3 Optimize the exchange of new with old vehicles for GSA Fleet customers onsite or at the customer location at the most efficient cost
1.4 Prepare vehicles for remote sale
1.5. Properly secure and maintain GSA accountable items
1.6. Utilize GSA Fleet vehicle accountability applications and/or shared electronic documentation and drives.
