Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357 has a requirement to renovate three (3) patient courtyards on the 2nd floor of the main building in the Loma Linda Healthcare facility. The courtyard renovation will be done in three (3) phases, with one (1) courtyard per phase. Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed in the SBA certification database on the SBA Veterans Small Business Certification Program (VetCert) portal at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $45.0M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about November 17, 2023 via Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
