Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08.
This requirement will be solicited as a commercial service in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document, with the incorporated clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The NAICS code is 721110.
The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain a temporary base of operations to be utilized by the Asheville Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC). The Asheville IHC Program is one of 113 IHC Programs in the Nation whose primary mission is to assist in Wildfire suppression and Prescribed Fire operations. This mission is accomplished by providing practical “on the ground” training opportunities and specific classroom instruction in Fire Suppression, Fuels Management, Fire Planning, and Operations.
The selected facility must include Lodging, Training/Meeting Room, Office Space, Exercise Facilities, and an optional Food/Meal service. The Facility must be located no more than 25 miles from the US Forest Service-Supervisors Office (S.O.) which is at 160 Zillicoa Street, Asheville NC 28801.

**Beginning on January 1, 2023, the Executive Order 14026 minimum wage rate that generally must be paid to workers performing work on or in connection with covered contracts will increase to $16.20 per hour.
