The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Product Director for Demilitarization (PD Demil), is announcing its intent to solicit a competitive 100% Small Business set aside requirement for an award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and/or Cost type task orders. The period of performance for this contract will be five (5) years from date of award.
PD Demil has a mission responsibility for the demilitarization of the U.S. Military’s stockpile of excess, unserviceable, and obsolete conventional ammunition for all Military Services. This equipment is installed and tested at U.S. Army ammunition plants/depots, where it is transitioned into the U.S. Army ammunition industrial base as Government-owned equipment. This acquisition covers services for the development, modification, or improvement of demilitarization process equipment.
This is not a request for proposal, and does not constitute a commitment on behalf of the Government. The Request for Proposal is intended to be released on or around 21 December 2021. It should be noted that telephone inquiries and responses will not be accepted.
