Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This requirement is for MAL Enclosed Snowmobile Trailer to support Malheur National Forest. It will be used as a 4-Place Snowmobile trailer, to haul and store, loading side by side versus staggered. The contractor shall ensure the requirement and specified features are new, used or remanufactured products will not be accepted, and shall be accordance with the Buy American Act. The Trailer must conform to the salient characteristics listed in the “Product Specifications” below. Trailer shall meet all DOT regulations and OSHA safety requirements and have the proper safety equipment installed (i.e. safety Chains, electric brakes, etc.). All work performed by the Contractor shall be in accordance with all known and applicable Federal, State, and Forest Service regulations and laws, and standard industry practices for this work.

DELIVERY LOCATION

The contractor shall provide 72-hour notification to the Point of Contact (POC) so that acceptance/arrangements may be coordinated. Failure to coordinate delivery with advance notice may result in a delivery delay; rescheduling due to failure to provide advanced notice will not be an additional cost to the government.
