AN41--Metabolomic Analysis Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Research and Development, intends to contract on a sole source basis with Metabolon, Inc. to provide metabolomic analysis services in support of the Primary Investigator (PI) Dr. Mary Cloud Ammons, R&D Department, at the Boise VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Boise, Idaho. The Ammons Anderson Lab of the Boise VAMC needs the services to be provided specifically by Metabolon, Inc. to provide metabolomic analysis of research specimens to study non-healing wounds in diabetic Veterans. Metabolon, Inc. has provided these services previously for Dr. Mary Cloud Ammons. In order to maintain continuity and compatibility with previous results and studies, Matabolon, Inc. must provide the services again for analysis of the next dataset. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, August 19, 2022 at 3:00 PM EST. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
