Description

Repair Assessment of Photovoltaic Systems located at Buildings 1217 and 1218, NAS CORPUS CHRISTI, TXSolar panels mounted on Building 1217 roof have eight disconnect boxes mounted on the side of the building at ground level and tie into two PV inverter cabinets rated at 260KW each. The power from each PV inverter runs underground to the pad mounted Square D panel board next to building 1218. Solar panels mounted on Building 1218 roof feed into eight disconnect boxes mounted on the side of the building at ground level. The disconnect boxes then feed into two PV inverter cabinets each rated at 260KW. Power then feeds into the same Square D panel board located next to building 1218. Functioning condition of each component aforementioned in the ?PV System?s? are unknown. Complete testing of solar panels, panel arrays, inverters and breakers is required for identifying corrective measures required to restore the systems? function back to original design output capacity. Upon completion of testing the entire systems? operational capability, provide a report including, but not limited to, a detailed summary of the PV inverters and solar panels showing voltages produced, open circuits, grounded components, usable/ unusable components, and missing PV panels with an estimated cost for repairs. Provide a summary of the findings from load testing the four PV inverters. Provide an itemized list of parts needed for restoring the PV inverters including cost for repair and/or replacement. Provide an itemized cost to restore exterior of the cabinets to original condition. Estimate should include panel restoration and/or replacements including surface preparation for priming and painting all PV inverter cabinets.
