Sources Sought The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Small Business Manufacturers, other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing items requested. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price contract. A SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Waiver will not apply if this requirement is set-aside for small business. Support services, install, setup, calibrate and provide training of the Brand name or Equal to Duplo Cutter Slitter Creaser and Duplo Air Suction Folder located at the VA Puget Sound Seattle Division. 2. Background. VA Puget Sound Medical Media is requesting a Brand name or Equal to Duplo Cutter Slitter Creaser and Duplo Air Suction Folder be installed in their area of concern, located at VA Puget Sound Health Care System Seattle Division, which requires install, setup, calibrate and training. The equipment requires trained and qualified technicians to perform maintenance based on optional annual service contract. 3. Scope. The following duties fall within the scope of work for the Brand name or equal to Duplo Cutter Slitter Creaser and the Duplo Air Suction Folder: a) Contractor to provide Onsite Installation, Set-up, Calibration, Firmware upgrades, and Training. 4. Specific Tasks. Responsibilities of work: a) Contractor to provide Onsite Installation, Set-up, Calibration, Firmware upgrades, and Training. b) Only certified trained service technicians shall be allowed to perform maintenance under the optional 1 year contract. c) Repair (remedial) services: Consist of those service calls necessary for repairs not caused by fire, water, accident and/or fluctuation in electrical power or customer abuse. This will include other services necessary to maintain the equipment in first-class operating condition to include, but not limited to cleaning, lubricating, adjusting as part of a scheduled maintenance service and replacing parts when required. In the event the cutter slitter creaser cannot be repaired, a "loaner" cutter slitter creaser will be provided by the vendor, at no cost, not to exceed 30 days. 5. Place of Performance. a.
