Description

The 7th Civil Engineering Squadron on Dyess AFB requires a trailer mounted air-cooled chiller. The specifications are listed below:
 
1. One (1) new trailer mounted air-cooled chiller, chilled water pump, chilled water hoses and electrical cable ready to support multiple locations.
2. One (1) new bumper pull trailer rated for the equipment being provided. All new equipment to be mounted on the trailer.
3. One (1) new Dunham-Bush air-cooled chiller as follows:
a. Air-Cooled Scroll Packaged Chiller
b. 20 Nominal Tons
c. Scroll Compressors
d. 460 volt 60 hertz 3 phases – Single point connections
e. Unit mounted main disconnect switch
f. Full factory refrigerant charge (HFC-134a)
g. With freeze protection (requires separate 115v power)
h. Low ambient control to 0F
i. Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger
j. Micro-channel Condenser
k. 115F maximum ambient temperature
l. Refrigerant isolation valves (discharge valve)
m. Louvered Hail Guard
n. Field installed flow switch
o. Victaulic connection
p. Factory insulation
q. Rubber and shear vibration isolation
r. Factory mounted controller w/ BACnet/IP
s. 5 year compressor parts warranty
4. One (1) new chilled water pump rated for the new chiller. Pump to be mounted on the trailer and hard piped to the new chiller. Pump will be provided with cam-lock style fittings for future hose connections.
5. Four (4) ea., fifty (50) foot sections of 4” flexible hose with associated camlok fittings.
6. Four (4) ea., one hundred (100) foot sections of 500 MC cable with male/female connections.
7. Trailer to be mounted with a single point new 480/3/60 panel that will serve the new chiller & chilled water pump. The trailer mounted chiller will control the new chilled water pump.
