T-ARC(X): Military Sealift Command Auxiliary Cable Repair Ship

NAVSEA has a requirement to procure brand name equipment to support the acquisition of two (2) T-ARC(X) ships. The T-ARC(X) System Specification includes items that are brand-name descriptions.

At this time, NAVSEA is requesting industry feedback on the below brand-name descriptions. Solicited feedback could include whether a firm believes they have an item that could be equal or equivalent to an item listed below. Firms are encouraged to detail the grounds on which they believe an item is equal or equivalent. Details that constitute equal or equivalent may include technical specifications, a history of use on ship classes with DPS-2 notation from ABS, and a history of integration with cable laying software on fiber optic cable lay/repair vessels.

Firms are encouraged to respond with ROM pricing based on ordering in 2027, including all costs associated with equipment including but not limited to shipping, commissioning, test and trials support, and spares.
