Description

Updated 08/10/2023 - The purpose of this announcement is to provide status on this requirement.  The solicitation is set aside for 100% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and was issued by invitation only to 3 or more GSA HCaTS SB Pool 1 contractors with WOSB status.  No further updates are anticipated.

Updated 06/12/2023 - The purpose of this announcement is to provide status on this requirement to assist contractors for planning purposes.  The acquisition strategy for this requirement includes competition after exclusion of sources, i.e. 100% Small Business set aside.  Small Business contractors will be solicited for a proposal via DHS SSV (GSA HCaTS).  The anticipated solicitation release date is 07/17/2023.

Updated 11/30/2022 - The purpose of this announcement is to provide status on this requirement to assist contractors for planning purposes.  TSA is in the market research phase for this requirement and anticipates releasing a solicitation during winter/spring 2023.  In addition, the name is changed from “Services for TSA Leadership Training” to “Fundamentals of Supervision (FOS)".  Contactors are advised to continue monitoring SAM.gov for updates on the current status of this requirement.

Original Post 08/11/2022 - The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is conducting market research to define sources with the capability to fulfill the requirement of Services for TSA Leadership Training.

This Sources Sought is a Request for Information (RFI).  This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate for any cost incurred in developing information provided.

The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) whether they are large or small business (and status); (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition; and (4) if there are federal supply schedules available for competitive solicitation.  The responses received will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. 

SCOPE

The Contractor shall provide services to develop curriculum, provide experienced classroom instructors, assessments, coaching, train the trainer program, project management and training support.  Further details are defined in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work.

RESPONSE INFORMATION

Interested vendors are required to respond by providing answers to questions using the Q&A document attached.  Answers to questions shall not exceed seven (7) pages.
