Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY This is a Sources Sought Notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 334510. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation.
The US Fish and Wildlife is seeking Crane inspection Services for Farallon Islands NWR, CA (off shore of San Francisco).
Objective: Provide services to certify two cranes (stiff-legged derrick crane and jib boom crane) and perform routine maintenance tasks on these cranes on an annual basis as well as non-routine tasks on an as needed basis in order to ensure operational safety and integrity of the equipment and hardware. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and materials necessary.
Vendor must be accredited as an OSHA crane certified for the last 3 years minimum.
