Description
Passenger transportation services are required for the U.S. Embassy London for business taking place in Scotland. The Contractor shall provide all managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel; vehicles and drivers (if required); communication equipment; all running expenses (i.e., fuel, oil, etc.) including all servicing and insurance of such vehicles that are necessary to accomplish all work required by this contract.
Geographical area to be covered by this contract is Scotland only.
The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, exercisable at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. Any responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference on Friday, 28 October at 1:00pm BST (GMT+1) at the U.S. Consulate Edinburgh, 3 Regent Terrace, Edinburgh, Scotland EH7 5BW. Interested parties must register their attendance by emailing LondonProc@state.gov by 5:00pm BST (GMT+1) on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Offers will be due by 5:00pm GMT on Monday, November 28, 2022 and must be sent to LondonProc@state.gov.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
