Description

W912EE - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has a FY-24 requirement for a contractor to provide Articulated Concrete Mattress Casting.  The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation, including, fuel, power, and water needed, and performing all work as required in casting, finishing, and curing squares of articulated concrete mattress.  The principal features of the work include supplying aggregate and cementitious materials; and batching and placing concrete.  The work will be performed at the Mat Casting Field in Delta, Louisiana.  The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 160 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.  In accordance with FAR 36.204(h), the construction magnitude of this project will be more than $10,000,000.00.  The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government's best interest.  The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest total price submitted for base work and all four (4) options. 

This requirement is being procured under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding.  The solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), and the resulting construction supply contract shall be firm fixed price (FFP).  The bid opening date is 17 January 2024 at 2:00 p.m.  The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.  Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.

Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.  The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on sam.gov.  Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations.  Bidders must be registered with SAM, including the NAICS code they are bidding under, to receive a contract award from the Government.  Technical inquiries and questions relating to the solicitation are to be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at www.ProjNet.Org.
