Force Plate Systems

This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement.

This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only.

The Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to purchase fours (4) Hawkin Dynamics Force Plate’s with peripherals and support services. Hawkin Dynamics maintains all copyright privileges for their products and these products must be purchased directly from the company. There are no agents or dealers authorized to represent these products, and no division of Hawkin Dynamics has any right of sub-license to make a similar or competing product.

A sole source contract is deemed appropriate as no other vendor is able to satisfy the Government’s requirements.

One (1) Purchase Order (PO) contract with Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Items is anticipated. Delivery location is Sneads Ferry, NC. The estimated award date is scheduled for 7 July 2023.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or an exception to the Government's intent to purchase on a sole source basis within three (3) days of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred for submissions in response to this notice.
