Description

Introduction

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Laboratory Division (LD) requires Hazardous Waste Removal Services in order to meet Federal and State regulatory requirements. The services require identification, packaging, shipment, and disposal of hazardous waste generated by LD operations.

Contract Type

The Government is seeking to establish a single award contract (Time and Material with one 12-month base year and two 12-month each option years). 

Questions/Reponses

1.Section 4.A. Pick-Up at LD Facilities in Quantico, VA

"The contractor shall package, ship and dispose of hazardous waste generated by LD operations at the FBI Laboratory Building, located in Quantico, VA, every 90 days beginning on December 19, 2023."

  • Confirming if there is a current vendor that has been performing work since the stated date, or if work is behind schedule
    • Current vendor - Environmental Waste Specialists, Inc. (EWSI)

2. Section 4.B. Optional Task: Surge Support (including Emergent Response)

"The contractor shall remove hazardous waste materials from locations throughout the contiguous United States, to include Operational Response Centers in Fredericksburg, VA, Irving, Tx, and Northridge, CA. The contractor shall arrive onsite for pick-up within 5 days of POC’s receipt of request via phone call or email. See section 9 for required deliverables. An identified POC for the contractor shall be available by phone or email 24/7."
