Description

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE as a means of conducting strategic market research to identify responsible, qualified entities having an interest in and the resources to support United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force Design 2030 technical concept. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Marine Corps will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://sam.gov). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments.

The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential businesses capable of providing the following technologies:

•           Enterprise Cloud Security

•           Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

•           Edge Computing

•           Hardware Virtualization/Containerization

•           Tactical Cross Domain Solutions

•           Data Fabric

•           Situational Awareness

•           Naval/Joint/Multinational/ Command and Control

•           Instant Messaging

•           Mission Partner Environment interoperability

•           Li-Fi/Wi-Fi technologies

•           Data Science Strategies in support of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in SAM.

The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Government to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated that Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded.

RESPONDENTS MUST NOT INCLUDE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE TO THIS RFI.

Moreover, entities responding to this Source Sought Notice must identify any data submitted that must not be disclosed outside the Government or that must not be duplicated, used, or disclosed - in whole or in part - for any purpose other than for the purposes set forth herein.

Entities that consider themselves to be qualified to perform any of the above referenced services are encouraged to submit their responses to this RFI via email with the Subject line: Response to RFI M68909-22-I-7622 to marina.a.simmons@usmc.mil by 02 August 2022. Telephone inquiries will not be permitted, entertained, accepted, or acknowledged, and respondents should not expect feedback regarding their capability submissions.  However, entities may be invited to participate in a follow-on meeting with the Government for a question/answer session to further assist in the overall market research for this requirement.

Please note that due to increased firewall protections some emails may be blocked; therefore, follow-up via telephone (if an acknowledgement is not received back via email) is strongly recommended to ensure receipt of your submission by the Government.

Request Capability Statements address the following:

1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and any  schedules held (i.e.: GSA, NASASEWP,ESI, SEAPORT, etc.).
