Intent to Sole Source for Snow Pillows

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (PFAC), intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Lange Containment Systems, Inc. for 60 mil TAN Polypropylene Snow Pillows. Fifteen snow pillows are required. Pillows must be 10 foot in diameter. 

This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED ON THE BASIS OF OFFERS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This is a notice only and a solicitation will not be issued. USDA FPAC will not respond to requests for solicitation and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. No solicitation document is available. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 326199 and Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
