Description
This is a Market Survey to locate commercial load banks used with 15 & 30 kW 400Hz PATRIOT generator sets in accordance with CECOM PD A3357168 titled “CECOM Purchase Description for Commercial Portable PATRIOT Load Bank U/W 15 kW & 30 kW 400 Hz TQGs”. The current load bank is the Cannon L-80G Load bank. We are looking for brand name or equal load banks meeting the requirements of the PD, at a minimum, which will also include load cables and a carrying case. The Army does not possess the technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of the items. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing via email to scott.h.mahoney4.civ@army.mil. The PD can be obtained by writing via email to scott.h.mahoney4.civ@army.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
