For request for solicitation, in the email subject line enter SPRRA2-23-R-0027, provide your name, the company name, Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number.

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include Multiple Part Numbers, Design and Labor of the Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) Unit Test Station (UTS). A total of twenty-one (21) Part Numbers for the Construction, Design and Labor of the UTS are targeted for this contract effort. As well as twenty-four (24) Spares for the UTS. This contract action is sole sourced to Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S), 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75071, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 96214, which is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS). Due to the proprietary requirements imposed by the original equipment manufacturer, there are no other known sources. The PDF document with all the Part Numbers and UTS specifications are attached to this file.

The proposed requirement will be one (1) time buy in calendar year 2023 period of performance. The existing contract is a firm fixed price (FFP) corporate Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The attached list of Part Numbers and Specifications are the items that have been identified for this current action. The letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. If other Part Numbers and Specifications are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.

These items are being added to contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, awarded to Raytheon Cage: 96214 in accordance with the approved J&A. There are three (3) years remaining on this contract. The contract requires design, build and supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
