Description

On or about 17 April 2023, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Fort Peck Power House 1 Draft Tube Stoplog Replacement”.  The solicitation will close on or about 17 May 2023.   The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.   

Site Visit:

A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27.   The site visit is tentatively scheduled for 27 April 2023.

Project Description: 

The work includes the replacement of the draft tube stoplogs and lifting beam at Fort Peck Dam, Powerhouse #1. The 115 kV line will require an outage before a mobile crane is used to move stoplogs to he stoplog slots. The work also includes replacing the dogging devices in each stoplog slot.

The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 450 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.   

Estimated Construction Costs:

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
