Description

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  This is not a solicitation or request for offers.  The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Phoenix Healthcare System intends to award a six-month delivery order to Sysmex America for continued use of the XN9000-301 Automated Hematology Platform. The Hematology equipment is already onsite and is used to perform in-house testing on a Cost-Per-Reportable-Result (CPRR) basis. The CPRR price structure encompasses all cost associated with dilution, repeat and confirmatory testing required to produce a single patient reportable result. It will include the use of equipment, emergency repair, preventative maintenance, reagents, and consumables. It will also include the material to perform as well as all other costs associated with quality control, calibration and correlation study testing that is prescribed by National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6640. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement no later than November 25, 2022, 4:00pm PST.  Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.   Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated acquisition procedures soliciting from a single source is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.00.  All inquiries shall be submitted via email to Anthony.delacruz@va.gov.
