Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Presentation Layer of the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 15, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is 1305M424R0047.
The NOAA, Office of Space Commerce (OSC), requires a presentation layer (user interface and user experience) for the TraCSS. The Government seeks to leverage mature commercial capabilities for the TraCSS Presentation Layer (user interface), which consists of web-based graphical user interfaces (GUI) and a Data Products service to generate formatted human-readable data products. The Government also requires the Contractor to build the TraCSS website to present the GUIs and data products. The GUI, Data Products, and website will utilize TraCSS Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Gateway Business Logic defined by the System Integrator to store and retrieve data.
The period of performance is one (1) 12-months base period plus four (4) 12-months option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210 and the business size standard is $40 Million. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses.
