The Sheridan VA Medical Center requires the purchase of new security locks to replace the current bathroom locks across the entire VA Medical Center due to patient and staff safety concerns. This will include the purchase of two (2) HD Office Locks, twenty-three (23) Grade 1 Office Mortise Locks, fifteen (15) Levers, J Escutcheons, SFIC Housing (Less Core), Satin Chrome Finish, Field Reversible and twenty-five (25) CORMAX Combinate Cores to the 1S1 key standard. No installation services will be required as the U.S. Government locksmith will remove and install new mortises, HD Office locks, and cores.
RAE Security, Inc. is authorized to combinate the 25 cores and currently has an End User Information and Code Release Agreement with Sheridan VA Medical Center. At this time, RAE Security is the only company authorized to combinate cores at Sheridan VA Medical Center.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00 AM Central Time, Monday, February 3, 2025. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Karly.Morris@va.gov.
A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
